Merrimack Valley Hospice
Start a new Thanksgiving family tradition by walking or running in the 22 nd Annual Feaster Five. For many years, Merrimack Valley Hospice has been the beneficiary of this fabulous event, and we hope 2009 will mark the year that YOU get involved. Print a brochure and read more about how you can get involved.
Have fun while making a difference!
On this brisk autumn morning, you can’t help but feel the electricity in the air as you stand shoulder to shoulder with over 8,000 runners and walkers at this much-loved event. Look around, you may spot a celebrity who has made Feaster Five part of his Thanksgiving tradition. Matt Damon, Joan Benoit Samuelson and Bill Rogers each have made surprise visits over the years!
Run or walk in honor of a loved one.
Get your friends and family together and form a team. Dress in special colors, wear photographs or carry a sign -- your creativity is encouraged!
Your participation means a world of difference to the nearly 200 adults and children and their families whom we care for on any given day. We rely on donations to provide hospice service at no charge to patients with limited or no health insurance benefits, and bereavement programs for families and children grieving the loss of a loved one.
Prizes, gifts and pies – a perfect Thanksgiving combination!
The Feaster Five brochure outlines everything you need to register and begin collecting pledges. Be sure to check out the exciting prizes and gifts available to participants as well as the opportunity to create your own online fundraising page.
So, lace up those sneakers and come on out! Please feel free to contact Jen Cantwell at jcantwell@
